Our Top 3 Electric Van Leasing Deals
Diesel has traditionally been the preferred fuel for vans, but the best electric vans are set to change that. As consumer purchasing habits change, so do the needs of your parcel provider. Electric vans may become the only way to transport goods in cities such as London in the not-too-distant future. Looking to go a little greener with your next van, why not take a look through our electric
van lease deals?
Of course, a van requires a lot of torque to move its cargo, which recent advancements in battery tech can now offer without having to sacrifice range. And with zero emissions, these are the vans we all want to see on the road.
Maxus eDeliver 9
If you're looking for a big van that's also fully electric, there are a couple of very deserving candidates to take into account, one of which is the Maxus eDeliver 9. Charge times for the Maxus vary depending on the battery pack you choose, but using an 11kw wall box charger, charging the vehicle should take no more than 8.5 hours. Whilst using a public DC charger, you can regain 80 percent of your range in just 45 minutes.
Inside the Maxus, there is a 10" touchscreen, air conditioning, cruise control, electric front windows, parking sensors, an anti-theft security system, and numerous safety features such as a blind area monitoring system. The front perspective is very aggressive on the outside, with a large chrome grill, and this, combined with LED headlights and daytime running lights, makes quite a statement. As standard equipment, the eDeliver 9 comes with some nice 16" alloy wheels.
Better yet the Maxus eDeliver 9 150KW High Roof Van 72KWH Auto could be yours for only £637.99 per month (ex. VAT).
Peugeot E-Partner
The e-Partner was developed alongside the Citroen e-Berlingo, Toyota Proace City Electric, and Vauxhall Combo-e, with all four models being nearly identical in most ways. While the interior designs of the others are similar, the e-Partner receives a bespoke dashboard that incorporates the i-Cockpit design from the brand's passenger cars. The e-50kWh Partner's battery has a range of up to 171 miles between charges. Furthermore, if you choose the larger two-body sizes available, the van has a payload capacity of up to 800kg and a load area of up to 4.4m3.
The Peugeot E-Partner Standard 800 100kw 50kwh Professional Premium Van Auto could be yours on a finance lease for as little as £244.99 per month (ex. VAT).
Vauxhall Vivaro-E
The regular Vivaro is already a well-insulated van, and noisy, rattling diesel engines are a thing of the past, but the Vivaro-e's electric powertrain takes the serenity to the next level. As a result, it is about as peaceful and relaxing as a commercial vehicle can be. The 100kW motor produces 134bhp, which may not sound as powerful as a top-end 200bhp diesel, but with no gears to shift and immediate torque from the time you press the accelerator, the Vivaro-e feels far faster than you would anticipate.
A 100kW rapid charger can charge the battery from 0 to 80% in 32 minutes, but the Vivaro-e also supports single phase 7.4kW charging and has the choice of three phases of 11kW charging. The smaller battery would take 7 hours 30 minutes and the larger battery would take 4 hours 45 minutes to charge.
Think the Vauxhall Vivaro-E L1 Electric 3100 100KW Dynamic 50KWH H1 Van Auto could be the electric van you’ve been looking for? Well, it could be yours on contract hire for as little as £459.01 per month (ex. VAT).
