What options do I have for leasing my next car?

Leasing is very straight forward and much like renting a vehicle for a long period of time. However there are options which can suit most requirements. It's best to speak to a member of our team and tell us what you're hoping to get out of your lease vehicle.

What happens at the end of my lease, will you contact me and let me know what to do?

What happens at the end of your lease is dependent on which type of lease you take out, but all of this will be discussed with you before, during and near the end of your agreement. Use the following links to learn more about Van Finance, Pick-up Finance, or Car Finance.

Is car leasing like taking out a loan from the bank?

There are some similarities but fundamentally, no, it's different. Speak to us to find out more.

Am I restricted to the amount of mileage I can do in my vehicle?

Each agreement would be set up with your anticipated mileage in mind, giving you a deal which is right for you but is also great value. Most funders will also give you the option to increase your mileage after the agreement has started- so, if your situation changes, this can be accommodated.

Why does the cost of the monthly payments increase with the amount of mileage I do?

This is all down to residual values. The advantage of contract hire is that you don't take any risk on residual value. However, the higher the mileage on a vehicle the lower the residual value will be. This is why the monthly rental would be higher, as it simply allows for a higher level of depreciation. But, once an agreement is set up the rental will not change. So, if the vehicle suffers higher depreciation than expected, you as a customer will not lose out.

How long is the lease period?

The length of the contract depends on your requirements, with a minimum of two years up to a maximum of five years.

What is the initial deposit?

This is usually between three and nine times your first monthly rental and is referred to as an initial rental. For example: a 3 year agreement at £200 per month with a 3 month initial rental would be referred to as a 3 35 agreement. The payments would be 1 x £600 then 35 x £200. It's a great idea to speak to a member of our team as they will create a bespoke quote to match your individual needs.

Is the Road Fund License included?

The Road Fund Licence is included for the duration of the contract with Contract Hire and Contract Purchase agreements.

Is delivery of my new vehicle included?

Is maintenance included in my contract?

Will you take my old vehicle in part exchange?

Most of the time, yes, this is possible. We look at your vehicle and may make an offer based on the market, vehicle make, model, and its current condition.

How do I know which funding option is the best for me or my business?

Is leasing a vehicle cheaper in the long run than buying it?

Each scenario is different, and we can't predict the market. But for this very reason leasing can be advantageous. It is often the best value way of obtaining a brand-new vehicle and gives you the benefits that come with a new vehicle over an old vehicle; such as - less maintenance, fewer MOTs if any at all, safer, cheaper to run - to name a few.

I do not have my own business - is it still possible to privately lease a vehicle?

What about taxing my new vehicle?

With Contract Hire and Personal Contract Hire the road tax for the full agreement duration is included in your rental payments for you.

Can I buy the vehicle at the end of my contract?

What criteria do I have to meet to qualify for car finance?

Do you insure the vehicle for me or can you help me organise insurance?

At the end of my lease, can I take out a new lease with a new car?

Yes, this works well as it means you will always be in a reasonably new vehicle. We get in touch near the end of your agreement to discuss your replacement.

Are you impartial when it comes to discussing the best vehicle to suit my needs?
